We were contacted by Seapointe Construction, who was involved in a significant remodel of this beach-front property.  The clients expressed interest in home technology and had some specific requests for a system that integrated their favorite music and video sources, with a simple control interface.  At the surface this looked like a traditional project if this nature, however, the levels of quality and usability had to be top-notch and the client wanted the most current options available.  This project presented at least two significant challenges, first of which is the design of the room and the fact that the sitting area and the bed are perpendicular to one another.  The client wanted to be able to view the TV from either area, along with enjoying full surround sound.  We accomplished this through an automated TV mount and custom speaker placement and automated switching.  The second challenge was hiding all of the technology in an elegant fashion, while accounting for serviceability and ventilation.  The automated TV mount helped us to overcome this challenge, as the TV retracts into a recessed position when not in use.  We also used speakers that nearly disappear into the walls and ceilings, wrapped the bathroom TV in a nice trim, and used sliding/rotating equipment racks for all of the gear in the cabinet.  To make it simple, we integrated a Crestron control system with all of the features available at the touch of a button.
